Es war ein wunderbare, sehr lehrreiche und köstliche Zeit. Es ist unglaublich, wie man sich hier weiterentwickelt. Persönlich und vor allem fotografisch.
Diese Mischung aus Fotografen- und Model-Teams, das Miteinander, das Ziel gemeinsam etwas besonderes zu erschaffen und zu wachsen, die persönliche Betreuung und Unterstützung, die gemeinsamen Feedbackrunden, das Pushen wenn nur wenig Zeit zur Verfügung steht (Sunset/Sunrise) aber auch die kreativen Freiräume sind prima.
Es ist so wertvoll, mit und von anderen zu lernen. Methoden, Workflows, Perspektiven, Setups, Beurteilung und Nutzung von Lichtsituationen aber vor allem, die Arbeit und der Umgang mit Personen vor der Kamera. Das macht es aus.
Ein riesen Dankeschön an alle Beteiligte, die tolle Organisation, die Coachings, die kleinen Vorträge, den grandiosen kulinarischen Catering-VIP-Service, an die super motivierten Models und klasse Make-ups von der Visagistin.

…was soll ich sagen … Marcus hat mich jedesmal genau da abgeholt, wo ich gerade stand. Er ist sehr motivierend, hat immer das Bestreben das Beste aus dir herauszuholen. Erklärt dir auch alles dreimal, wenn es nötig ist. Er ist Coach durch und durch. Vor allem gibt er immer mehr, als er müsste.
Auf Marcus bin ich 2019 auf Instagram aufmerksam geworden. Damals suchte ich nach einer Photoreise und fand unter anderem Photoboell. Ich telefonierte mit Marcus und er war mir gleich sympathisch. Jetzt war ich 2019 noch das absolute Greenhorn und traute mir nicht zu, an einem solchen Workshop mit all den Photographen und tollen Models teilzunehmen. Meine Idee war, ich übe noch ganz viel und fahre lieber das Jahr später mit.
Leider war ich ein Jahr später immer noch nicht weiter 
Somit hätte ich jetzt noch länger warten oder einfach mitfahren und in kürzestester Zeit viel lernen können. Und dann kam Corona und der Workshop konnte nicht durchgeführt werden.
Ich hatte dann mit Marcus ein 1:1 Coaching über ein Wochenende und war auch bei den Shootingtagen in Berlin mit dabei.
Für die Shootingreise in 2021 war zwar immer noch total verunsichert, ob ich überhaupt mithalten kann. Wie sollte ich mit den Models umgehen? Was ist wenn ich die Kamera nicht im Griff habe? Dann noch die ganze Zeit Englisch reden. Mir schwirrte der Kopf.
Somit hätte ich jetzt noch länger warten oder einfach mitfahren und in kürzestester Zeit viel lernen können. Und dann kam Corona und der Workshop konnte nicht durchgeführt werden. 
Aber was soll ich sagen … Marcus hat mich jedesmal genau da abgeholt, wo ich gerade stand. Er ist sehr motivierend, hat immer das Bestreben das Beste aus dir herauszuholen. Wie oft hat er mit mir über Lightroom gesessen und mir Tipps und Tricks gezeigt.
Es hat mir jedesmal viel Spaß gemacht, wenn ich mit Marcus unterwegs war. Ich habe mega viel gelernt und wende dieses auch an. Der Umgang mit den Models und der Kamera wurde auch immer leichter und ich habe dadurch mehr Selbstvertrauen gewonnen. Die Bilder sprechen dabei für sich.
PS: Beim Shootingcamp auf Mallorca war ich die einzige Fotografin. Das war schon etwas komisch, vor allem weil auch mein Umfeld unterschiedlich reagiert hat. So tolle junge Frauen mit Fotografen allein auf einer Finka. sexy Fotos etc. Aber: Es herrscht ein grosser Respekt unter den Fotografen untereinander und auch gegenüber den Models. Es ist für alle harte Arbeit. Eine Woche lang ganz fokussiert in einer Gemeinschaft an seinen Fähigkeiten zu feilen. Klar, hatten wir auch viel Spaß, aber das tägliche Ziel hieß … Upgrade your Level … Lerne neues dazu – der Fotograf und das Model – denn nur so kannst du die besten Ergebnisse erhalten. Die Tage hatte Marcus sehr strukturiert vorbereitet. Wir wussten genau, welches Shooting wann und vorallem wo es stattfand. Ruhezeiten waren dabei auch eingeplant. Die Finka war toll, die Versorgung gesichert.
Auch wenn ich außerhalb der Photoreisen nichts mit professionellen Models zu tun habe und die Art der Fotos, die ich mache, einen ganz andere Richtung haben, wende ich vieles von dem Gelernten an und bin viel sicherer geworden.
Ich kann nur jeden dazu ermutigen den Schritt zu wagen. Upgrade your Level …. Egal welches…. Isabel

Who is this workshop for?
This workshop is designed for photographers with some experience in people photography looking to expand their skills. The focus isn’t on basic camera settings (ISO, aperture, shutter speed), but on advanced topics like model leading, composition, lighting, and storytelling.
Are there additional costs?
Additional costs include travel (flight), hotel, and rental car — typically shared among participants.
Do I need fluent English?
No — basic English is sufficient and we use it in a relaxed way.
What equipment do I need?
A camera with autofocus (ideally with eye/face tracking) is recommended. We provide reflectors, diffusers, and recommend a ND filter.
Focus Areas:
Workshops focus on Fashion, Beauty, Portrait, and Bikini photography. Nude photography is not included.

Es war eine schöne und sehr lehrreiche Zeit in der Gruppe. Die dynamische Peoplefotografie, hat viele Grenzen meiner bisherigen fotografischen Erfahrung gesprengt. Doch mit den Ergebnissen und wertvollen Erfahrungen bin ich sehr zufrieden und kann‘s jedem empfehlen welcher eine intensive Zeit, Weiterbildung sucht.

The program was intense and full of great ideas and the personal 1-1 couching during the camp was really helpful.

Ich konnte von Marcus damals einige Anregungen in der dynamischen Fotografie mitnehmen. Ich fotografiere seither abwechslungsweise statisch und dynamisch und setze dies gekonnt je nach Shooting und Situation ein. Das hat sich auch auf meine persönliche Weiterentwicklung und Qualität ausgewirkt.
Mir bleibt aber auch das zusammen sein in guter Erinnerung. Richtig coole Leute und Gespräche und man hat sich gegenseitig immer ausgeholfen. Eine wirklich tolle Stimmung auch mit den einzelnen Models. Diese waren stets gut vorbereitet, lernbegierig und höchst professionell.
